Missionary missions success chances a bit iffy?

I was wondering how the Missionary missions are working for other people. It's possible that I just got really unlucky but I've sent out more than 10 followers on missions that had over a 90% success chance and almost every single of them failed + died when they came back. I guess this game plays by the ol' X-Com rules.

It's been fine for me. Haven't counted how many died but I estimate it's only been a few dead compared to maybe two dozen-ish sent out. I usually sent them out at 85%+, so I guess the probability checks out

I'm wondering the same thing, I've sent out around 15 missions with ~95% success chance and only had 2 come back alive, I think there's something definitely wrong with the success chances

Same, I've been having about a 65% success rate when I send everyone out with 88%+. These feel like XCOM percentages...

That's what those necklaces are meant to do, it's guarantees 100% missionary success for the wearer
