Eye of the Witness

I went back through Darkwood to get a second Eye for Plimbo but I've come across Agares a few times now and he just won't drop it. Is there something specific I have to do or hope I get lucky?

i think you can only get the eye of witness once? im not to sure so sorry if im wrong but i did the dark woods alot and the same thing i only got one

in my experience that's not always true i don't know if it was a bug or it can happen, but "normally" u need to find 4 pieces each one in the 4 different biomes, but i got 2 in the same biome so keep it in mind, to not waste ur time rechallenging the same one over and over.
