ENDGAME??

there is no endgame.

sadly no or at least not yet. They are making updates *tm* in the future for the game. The bosses are all pretty easy and that sadly goes for the final boss as well. The final boss has two minibosses before it that are pretty much glorified mobs that can cast spells which are easily dodgeable. Then the boss itself has two phases. First phase is obscenely easy as you can dodge through its projectiles which arent threatening and just whale on it. The second phase is somehow even easier as you just hit 3 small floating eyeballs which dont really do anything. To be honest they copy the move set of normal mobs you would have already killed. Then you sit there and say hopefully there is something more to this but then thats it. Thats the whole fight. Also pretty much every upgrade in the game can easily be acquired by the time you hit the last boss. The town aspect seems to be more of a limitation to speedrunners than to have been put in as an actual feature. To put it lightly. I seriously hope they add end game to it.

I think they updated the final boss a bit after seeing some footage released 2-3 weeks prior to when I started. It's A LOT more hectic now, with denser attack patterns and mob summons. The only grievance I have is that I can't replay it without having to start a new game...

Other than that, devs seem to be working on some new updates, so I'm crossing my fingers for some cult self-sustainability and a boss rush mode!

No endgame right now. Your choices on a completed file are to either go for 100% decoration/follower collection, pimp your base or start a new file and see if you can do it faster or with other doctrines.

The devs are very intent on adding free updates to the game though.
