Killing followers?

Am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I chose the Belief in Sacrifice trait instead of the other one? I didn't realize sacrifice had such a long cooldown. I can't kill my old followers and I picked the Good Die Young trait.

Yes traits are a definitive choice.

Note that their is a shrine perk that reduce cost of rituals by 50 % then just upside cooldown by 50%. (and i'm pretty sure the cooldown is either bugged or misleading, cause it make some rituals cooldown, like the one that not require to eat anymore, 4 time shorter instead of 2 time. Making this perk really usefull.

Also I meant that I chose the ascend follower ritual instead of the murder one, I forgot which branch it was from

I recommend getting cheaper rituals and getting a bunch of rituals that allow you to kill your followers. There are quite a few.
