Instant kill follower

Please add the possibility of us instakilling followers. For example, give the opportunity to create statues of Midas for our settlement with the loss of followers, or some other action with the loss of a follower and getting some profit

Could be a Ritual
There is Ascension to give them eternal peace - but you can resurrect them if needed
Make a Ritual called Damnation - you condemn a follower to the Purgatory or whatever removing the ability to bring them back, thus removing from the Follower list (it would ask like Midas or Fox you REALLY want to do it or not)

There's two ways to easy-kill followers that can be done en masse. You can feed them the death soup (or whatever it's called) and you can get the rite that lets you murder your followers.

There's also four rituals that let you murder followers; Sacrifice, Ascension, Pit Fight, and Feast of Cannibals.

No shortage of death options, although if you pick the wrong edicts it can seem awfully limited.

That's not the point here. It is necessary to destroy the followers for good, without the possibility of resurrection. for example, followers with bad traits. Like sacrifice them for doors on late game levels

We NEED more ROSEGOLD follower skins! It's my favorite colour (with a u) and I simply cannot stand looking at all the ugly non-ROSEGOLD followers. You need to add it so you can save me from seeing something inconsequential that I absolutely do not need to focus on and makes no difference in my gameplay. 0/10 until you bring upon my dire super necessary REQUEST!!!

I just suggested if it was possible. I'm not insisting, it's just interesting that there are already several ways to permanently lose followers in the game. I'm not asking you to give me something that isn't there. I am asking if it is possible to give more of what is already there. And what difference does it make to you? Is it bad to want your favorite game to become more content and features?

I wouldn't say wanting a way to keep certain dead followers from showing up on the list is a "petty complaint," and there's no reason to be a jerk about it. The problem with the dead list is that, as time goes on, the list gets longer and longer, and clogged with more and more followers and it gets harder and harder to find specific followers you do want to bring back. There's also the fact that, the longer the list gets, the bigger your save gets, and if you're someone who's several hundred days in and has 50+ followers at a time, it can cause problems with how much data the list of the dead eats up. And given the number of players who have asked for a way to clean up the list or to permanently kill followers, I think it's a very legitimate grievance. And honestly, I agree, for the reasons mentioned above.

A filter thats hides undesired dead followers is a reasonable request. This however, is the verbal poetry put forth by the OP that started this thread;

Doesn't sound like a complaint, just a suggestion. I've seen folks who are wayyy worse about what they want. Still not a reason to be a jerk about it. Nothing there reads "if this isn't put in the game the way I want it then everything sucks!" Just a "yeah that's cool, I'd just prefer it like this."
