Can Dr.sozo die of old age?

As it says in the title. was just wondering if I should make him immortal or not before its too late and I lose a unique follower.

Yes but you can just resurrect him as many times as you want. Or maybe tell him to go eat an egg.

I gave him a goldne necklace while he still had a mushroom on his head , before reeducation
So now I have an immortal elder Sozonius
But he totally could bite the dust from old age if you let him be and don't feed him egg or like this necklace trick

I wouldn't waste necklaces on Sozo when he's in the stage, you might find that you can easily break ♥♥♥♥ unknowingly like if you reserve a drink for him at the bar (pretty sure you still can as I hadn't seen a mention of that being patched) it causes the entire bar to break as a result because Sozo never drinks from it.
