Any way to lower graphics even more for my potato laptop?

Even when everything's set to lowest, there's effects in the game that cause massive frame drops and overheating (ex: the upgrades menu and when I hit foes)

It also gets stuck frame dropping the whole game often until I restart my laptop.
I'm seeking to find a way to lower or disable the effects even more so if anyone knows a way, I'd be more than happy. I really love this game and I'd love to improve my gaming experience more. Thank you for reading this! :]
