LB button will not work with game, External Controller, Steam Deck

For some reason the LB button on my controller will not work in the game anymore when I play on my steam deck using an external controller.

I tested the controller using steams tester and it registered fine, and treated it in another game and it works. The game will just not recognize when I push the LB button.

Need a solution for this.

Yeah, mine doesn't seem to be working either, and the guys with shields keep taking me out as a result

I have the exact same issue with LB as well. Is this a known issue? Kinda annoying. I rebound Relic use to LT but no luck with the menu navigation.

Hey! I'll catch up with QA and see if they can replicate this issue!

The same controller was working fine in the game before. And it stopped working just before the latest patch so It's not related. I suspect there's a config file that needs to be reset to defaults somewhere. I'll look when I have a chance soon.

What kind of controller are you using? An XB one? Our QA tried testing on the Steamdeck with the Dualsense's LB equivalent and didn't run into issues - he's gonna try with an XB controller when he can source one!

I was using a 8bitdo Pro2 controller but it was doing the same with an XBOX series controller as well

It's not an official Xbox controller but it has the same chip and runs the same drivers (on linux anyways)

And if you're trying to reproduce it might be hard as this controller worked for me in this game for like... 30-40 hours.

I'm having a much worse problem.
Both XBOX and SWITCH controllers are unreadable. Games have been uninstalled and reinstalled with no resolution of the problem - My controllers work fine with other games!
