Can you play as The Goat in singleplayer?

I haven't touched this game in years, but this might be worth my attention. However, Co Op is lame and I have no interest in that mode. Can you play as the Goat in singleplayer or is it restricted to co op?

Nvm, I looked it up and it seems you have to beat 3 of the 4 bosses before unlocking it, plus it takes up a fleece spot so you can't use another fleece. Back to ignoring this game's existence, I guess.

They also added a transmog system. You can make any fleece look like any other fleece, so you should be able to look like the goat while wearing the fleece of your choice.

Eh, it's still ultimately pointless, since you have to beat 3 out of 4 bosses to even unlock the Goat fleece. I'll just wait for the inevitable "play as Goat from the start" mod.

there already is a goat mod
there was one before this update even came out
if you download COTL API iirc you can change between lamb, goat and snake at any point through a menu

OK but the game never explains how to do this.
