Goat Can't Change Fleece ? ' kind of a bummer , will you guys add this option ?

The goats locked to not using any of the good fleeces? That's unfortunate. It means that you are a worse version of yourself if you play as the goat in single player or your co-op partner will always be weaker

The co-op partner SHARES the effects of the fleece the Lamb is wearing, so if the Lamb's wearing the yellow fleece, the goat gets the same double damage penalty.

So I find out how to use the goat skin in single player but he comes with his own cosmetic fleece appearance and even if you change your stats you can't combine his face with different fleeces

Unfortunately, you need to use a mod to truly play the game in single player as the goat. Otherwise it's just something you get way later in the game but only if you're willing to gimp yourself and your runs by being in fleece with no special abilities

I rather not have to rely on using a mod tho as it feels like cheating.. but it's the only option currently

If you're okay with playing the game from start to finish with just the default fleece and never using any of the others or the content behind them, that's on you and just you having a self imposed challenge

Hey! By using the Transmog System, you can turn a stat inducing fleece into the goat skin, so visually you'll look like the goat without being nerfed (in response to a comment in this thread). We tested this today to make sure, and it works!

Regarding what I read in the most recent reply, it's been confirmed The Goat is a dark reflection of the Lamb - the same; and yet not.

We've also been listening to the community's feedback, and we're planning to be making changes to make the Goat Fleece more easily accessible earlier.

Please do, it shouldn't lead to post game. Maybe allow access to it from the point quick start begins or an alternate skin in general that allows you to wear the fleeces without needing transmog?

Will you add the option for the second player to change fleeces ? (Cosmetic) ?


Edit : cuz right now Player 2 is completly locked from changing his fleece (appearance ) and will always wear the purple fleece + player 1 fleece stats . would be great for player 2 which plays the goat to have that option to wear different fleeces

Ahh I was wrong on that and I'll take the admit on that. I play on co-op with my wife and didn't see the fleece nor do I look at all drip fed content on YouTube so I didn't see the message about the goat being evil

That does mean that they're opening saying that the goat 🐐 is evil and that the lamb 🐑 is good then? Since the goats a darker reflection

Either way... I just want to play as the goat myself from the start cause it just feels so weird to goat 🐐 through all this effort to make a new character and then just lock it behind co-op or late game trans mog
