Can unique followers make a golden egg?

I'm trying to make an abomination with 4 positive traits, but haven't seen any golden egg so far
am I just unlucky or is it simply not possible?

IDK , golden eggs usually feel random but ive always got them when mating someone who has 2+ positive traits , with another who has 2+ positive traits, and always had a high mating chance.
I feel like gold eggs are like 10-20% of all Good matches with good positive trait parents

Unique followers can make golden eggs but you won't get an abomination tho just FYI. An abomination is formed when you have a unique follower mate and have an normal egg which nets you the only way to get an abomination follower. If you get an golden egg then you get a normal skin

The followers I'm trying to get a golden egg from are:
One non-unique with 1 negative trait and 2 positive traits
One unique with 1 negative trait and 2 positive traits

I find that matching at least one person who has only 1-2 traits, with someone who has 3-4 traits, gives really high odds of gold egg. similar to 2 with 2 each.

As soon as you get 3 or more traits on both people, they almost never give a gold egg.

I also find if one has Lust, but not both, you get higher odds of success.

Also, not sure if positive vs negative traits make any difference?

I actually got a golden egg from 2 abominations with 1-2 traits, idk how it works i wanted to test it again but my follower died so i m gonna revive him, one time i got lucky and hot 5 golden eggs in a row but they all rotted (( I didnt know that could happen TT)
