Missing Game Save/File

Recently, my PC pretty much exploded lol, and I am currently using a Mac to do school work (and to game lol) until I get a replacement. I downloaded the game onto this device, but the problem is that my save files are.. missing.

It says that my game's cloud is up to date, but my saves are gone? Maybe saves are not compatible between Windows and Mac.. which is kinda disappointing. There is barely any games I can even play on Mac, and one of the few games I can play... my saves are missing!

Does anybody know if my game file from my previous PC will transfer to my new one (when I eventually get to replacing lol)? Hopefully it does, I have two saves that I've been working on for awhile, and there is still so much I want to accomplish in both of them!

I've noticed that syncs aren't syncing between macOS and Windows, either... each of them will sync after playing, but the two are being treated completely separate... may hav resort to setting up my own sync for this game :(

Hmmm, I'll ask the programmer to look into the Mac/PC sync. The last I heard, it was working.

That would be awesome. I linked my save over the network and it works fine, but would be nice to not have to do that. It does work perfect between my PC and the Deck, but for some reason, it's treating the macOS save and the PC save as if they're on their own

no, it doesn't work. and I couldn't fine the saves on Mac, the path other people post on reddit doesn't exist. Is it a M2 chip problem??

no, it doesn't work. i started with windows, but after sync, it is a new file on mac

Same here, doesn't work. Mac M1 chip steam save not showing on Windows 10 steam. 6th of Jan, 2025.

Hello! We looked into this and it looks like trying to fix this issue at the moment could result in major issues for Mac users, so we are hesitant to implement this at the moment. We'll keep looking into how we can resolve this issue without the risks!
