Massive offering statue farm is kind of silly

It looks like there’s no real limit on how man offering statues you can build (aside from followers time), and you can get tons of resources from them because followers don’t take long to populate them.

I got so much silk thread that way that I never needed to “consecrate” a single one.

Dang, these followers are secretly loaded and have really been holding out on me.

Seems like it would make more sense to have one unique offering statue that gets a max of one offering per day per follower and then have upgrades for that one statue to improve the offerings or amounts at each offering. That would save a lot of map space.

YES YES TO THIS IDEA!

There is inherently nothing stopping a player from having zero farms and lumberyards/stone mines in favor of half your entire grounds filled to the brim with these statues to supply your wants and needs with crusades being purely for fun/progression. I'm not joking by the way, my friend went out of his way to farm resources off of offering shrines. I only have one, mostly for decorational purposes, but this is the kind of thing that you would imagine gets nerfed, except for the idea that being able to upgrade shrines would probably compensate for having a limit to how many you can place.

I can't speak for whether or not it would get nerfed, but under the assumption it does, then there is nothing stopping you from abusing it for the time being. The option is there, albeit a very funny one that cheeses the need to look for resources minus being asked to do it by a follower.

Yes I suspected that you could just survive off of offering statues. Only thing you can’t get which I constantly use is bones, and the missionary is limited as to how many can be obtained at once.
