Anyway to open Anura, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle without sacrificing a follower?

The entire game I've been able to play as I like without sacrificing anyone. But now in the post-game it's *forcing* me to. I figured since Darkwood opened up automatically, that if I complete that and Leshy's quest then Anura would open up, but no dice. Am I just being forced to sacrifice a follower now with no other recourse?

Sadly, yes. I think the idea, in universe, is similar to why you have to sacrifice someone to bring back the Kittens, a soul for a soul sort of thing. You're effectively dragging the bishops back to the living world via the sacrifice of the follower.

Best thing to do is get new followers as fodder for it. Pretty sure they removed the level requirement for sacrificing a follower, before SOTF, I think you needed to rid a level 14 or 16 follower to open Silk Cradle. Correct me if I am wrong.

The level requirements are still there, but lessened to 4 for Aruna, 7 for Anchordeep and 10 for Silk Cradle respectively.

Sacrifice is only a moral issue when there's no way to purge the follower list and you don't have any spare jerks.
