Is there a way to reduce the age of a follower once they are elderly?

I feel like the cult members age way too fast, and become eldely too fast. Is there a way to rejuvenate them?

Feeding them Eggs you get from breeding Followers in Mating Tent
Or give them a Skull Necklace to greatly extend your Follower's life or Gold Skull Necklace to make them immortal.

Skull necklaces double their lifespan.
Gold skull necklaces make them immortal, immune to ageing.

But yeah, I wish there was a ritual to restore youth to all elder followers.

A method was added, not a ritual tho.
Mate 2 followers in the mating tent to get an egg (cost sin), crack it and cook it.

To be fair, on the long rong it is easier to just gather enough devotion for a God Tear, go to the ???, save, roll for the golden skull neklace, and if anything else, reload, try again the roll...

Follow up question, how do you get the egg meal unlocked ? Breaking an egg gave me the recipe for the egg drink but no meal.

I swear it used to take longer for them to grow old before the Relics of the Old Faith update.

Difficulty affects aging maybe you played on lower difficulty before and now play on higher.

I noticed that too, followers barely reach level 8 before dying if I'm not always behind them and they get old after 20 days maybe.
The hatchlings lasts a little longer and you can level them to 7-8 before they even reach adulthood.

Recruited followers are between 20 and 30 days old upon recruitment.

That's probably the reason why you noticed Hatched followers lasting longer than Recruited ones before getting to old age.

People dying constantly is probably my biggest con with the game so far. I really enjoy it, but doing Resurrection rituals over and over is so costly. I can't keep up with enough bones to collect. They need to increase how many bones you get per run.

For bones i always get most in Silk Cradle like a lot compared to other dungeons. Smash everything you see a lot of decor in Silk Cradle drops bones.

Or pray to RNGesus you get a lot of Skull/Gold skull necklaces ^^

Alternatively feed old people eggs to make them young again.
