DON'T FEED SOZO FOLLOWER!!!

Turns out to help Sozo you just don't feed him any mushroomos.

From what I get to cure him you need to:
Revive him by planting the mushroom
Feed him more mushrooms
Feed him a mushroom guy
Deny the quest when he asks for a 2nd
He must dissent (I put the anti dissenter necklace on him, don't do that)
Put him in prison until he's cured.

I managed to let the Mushroomo live with this process:

- Revive Sozo by planting him
- Find and indoctrinate Mushroomo
- Immediately imprison Sozo to prevent him from eating Mushroomo
(I waited about 5-6 days here)
- At night time, release Sozo and sleep in the Leader Tent
- Sozo claimed Mushroomo "had to leave" and request another Mushroomo.
- Mushroomo was still alive. No cannibilizing friends here.
- Refuse Sozo's request, have him dissent, imprison and re-educate.

If I were to do all these steps, would he still eat my planted mushrooms after?

I think you jumped the gun with this because you can't find Mushroomo followers BEFORE Sozo requests you to find one.

You can still help him no matter how many times you feed him.

Just accept his first offer of retrieving a follower and deny any other, no matter if it is the second, third, fourth or whatever

Tbh I didn’t know this would happen until I accepted the last mission luckily even in this scenario I found a way to save him so what I did was I got the mushroomo and I imprisoned sozo then killed the mushroomo then he asked me to get another one then I denied and saved him !!!

I know this is an old thread, but another way to make Mushroomo live is stick him in the mating tent with Sozo. You lose one sin and they don't create an egg, but Mushrooma lives until he dies of old age and Sozo says he had to go and wants another one.

Damn, I think I've fed Sozo like 6 or 7 Mushroomos now... I was hoping he'd just stop eventually. But this last time he was like "I know I said the last one was the last one, but just one more pleaseee" and I was like bruh.....

I ended up imprisoning Sozo until I had 2 Mushroomos (he said the first one had to go, but it hadn't yet so I threw him in the box once he asked for another) and then mated them together. I have 2 mushroom babies now. One is full Mushroomo+Mushroomo, and the other is a Mushroomo + one of my other followers I believe. I let Sozo out while they were incubating and were trapped (and hopefully protected) in the nursery, but then trapped him again now that they're grown and I've been keeping a very close eye on him bc I have no idea if he'll eat them or not. Good to know I can deny him the next time. I really *can* fix him!!!
