"Fight Dissenting followers on Crusades to get them back" I need more info

I got a Dissenting follower at start of new game and he left.

Now i am like 50 so days in and i never seen them at all on Crusades.

So how does that feature work?
In what rooms they spawn?
Any prequesites i need to fulfill?
Anything?

Or mine simply got bugged?

Hello! There aren't any pre-requisites. It may be that you have a Follower that has Sinned, as that one will need to be beaten first - if you're supposed to encounter at least one Sinner during crusades, you won't get to see any dissenters until you've fully killed that one

They will spawn in any room, in any dungeon.

None of my current followers has fully sinned yet.


I think it might be bugged? And my game just deleted the follower making the feature not too reliable on getting back Dissenters specifically.
