Welcome to the Cult Cheatsheet!

This is a WIP little guide to help you figure out how to unlock some of the amazing new content in our latest update. I've spoiler tagged some of it, just hover over the black bits to reveal text.

How to Unlock New Content for Sins of the Flesh

You need to have passed the requirement of defeating 3 Bishops during the main story. The Sins of the Flesh content will unlock once you have performed a Sermon, Doctrine or Ritual.

How to Revive Dissented/Damned Followers

You need to defeat the Follower during a crusade, at least 3 times. You will be able to revive them via a ritual after this.

How to Find Grapes/Hops/Cotton

During crusades in a special room dedicated to each resource.

Why wont my Follower level up above 10?

Follower level is now capped at 10 - Followers at max level can can still participate in any interactions or Cult events that would normally increase their loyalty, but their loyalty bar will not appear anymore.

Disciples

Invite your most loyal Followers to the inner circle of Disciples, a revamped levelling system of Follower progression.

The Discipleship Ritual will allow you to initiate a level 10 Follower, giving them the coveted position. Upon initiation, Disciples gain the Faith Trait (allowing them to re-educate those naughty dissenting Followers once a day), and can generate more Devotion compared to regular Followers.

How to Find New Follower Skins

How to Unlock New Follower Skins 🦭
Snake: Collect All Lore Tablets
Caterpillar, Lemur, Seal: From Breeding Golden Eggs
Worm: Obtained from Tailor room.
Poppy: Find in Darkwood

How to Unlock New Outfits

Regular outfits can be crafted as many times as needed, whereas special ones (marked as Unique or DLC) can only be crafted once. You need silk to craft the outfits, but a few of them also need additional resources such as follower meat or camellias.

Unlock the Tailor building at the Divine Inspiration Tree like any other structure, after talking to Berith, the new NPC during a crusade.

Unlocked by default: Acolyte Robe, Peasant Blousee, Labourer Tunic, Ragged Robes.

Unlocked during crusades as loot/purchasable from NPC: Merchant shirt, Evening Frock, Genteel Jacket, Scholar Shirt, Modest Robes, Sensible Dress, Grass Skirt, Night Shirt, Picnic Attire

Special conditions:
Naked: Perform Rite of Lust 5 times.
Wedding Dress & Wedding Suit: unlocked after 3 weddings.
Chef's Jacket: crack an egg 3 times.
Knight Armour: heart demon drops once you unlock Tailor.
Ceremonial Robes: after the same Follower confesses 5 times.
Maid Dress: clean up 100 poops/vomit.
Fancy Robes: absolve Sin from Follower 5 times.
Drinktenders Vest: unlocked after 30 drinks at the Drinkhouse.
Jesters Costume: craft 25 outfits.
Warriors Cuirass: unlocked when Follower wins/lose 3 fights in the fight pit.

How to Unlock New Achievements

Holder of History: Unlock all lore.
Setter of Trends: Unlock all outfits.
Apostles: Have 12 Disciples.
Aesthetics of the Lamb: Upgrade the Temple.
Regenerate: Help Sozo.
Propagate the Flock: Hatch 5 Eggs.

How to Get Sozo Follower

Sozo’s Follower form can be obtained through a new side quest that will only activate once you complete all prior Sozo quests, and Sozo is deceased.

Pick up a mushroom from Sozo’s body when going back to Spore Grotto, and plant it. Planting this will make a Follower version of Sozo grow after a couple of days.

After this (may take a few days), Sozo will give you an optional task to get him some mushrooms. If you accept, Sozo will become brainwashed. Brainwashed Sozo will eat every mushroom in the farm, will not sleep and have brainwashed stats (higher chances of success during missions).

Sozo will not work in the Cult, but will give you a side quest to bring his friend Mushroomo back from a crusade in Anura. After completing this quest, Sozo will run after Mushroomo and eat him – this will lead to the same quest again. Refuse, and Sozo will dissent. Put him in jail to re-educate him for 5 days so he can sober up.

How to Find All Lore Tablets

You need to have defeated The One who Waits to unlock the Lore Tablets. Find secret lore totems underneath breakables during crusades.

There are 15 Lore items: 10 that can be found in the lore room, 3 in the new graveyard room by digging up graves, one hidden behind Haro’s tent or in the Meat Room and one hidden behind the fire in Monch's room.

quick achievement question. for the one where we need to unlock all outfits. does that include the ones tied to the fight pit ritual or wedding ritual? if so does not taking those rituals make the achievement impossible.
only recently got the game and am planning on doing multiple runs anyway so trying to figure out what achievements are missible.

Hi, I've come across something weird ?
So this happened after I got Sozo out of his 'hungry for mushroomos' trance thing and unlocked the mushroomo follower form.
Mushroomo got drunk then ate Sozo and I apparently cannot resurrect him.
Weird thing is, when I read his thoughts, it said ''Sozo ate a mushroomo'', when the opposite just happened.
Idk if I'm just stupid and there's a way to bring him back to life or if it really is a bug.

i am in the post game rn, having defeated all the bosses and such. so collecting the lore tidbits, is it able to come across Haro again to check behind his tent or is a new game needed to get that

I can't unlock Apostles achievement, I got more than 13 disciples and the achievement doesn't appear, did someone had this issue as well?

Have you tried adding a new apostle since we dropped the latest patch?

My follower Dissented and escaped the cult like nearly 50 days ago.
I never seen them on crusades ever.

In what rooms they spawn and are there any requirements?

No requirements, any of the dungeons :)

I’ve beat Heket (my sinful follower) like 6 times now, why won’t she go down?
How do I save her if she just won’t go down?

Hello! I have been enjoying the update a lot! So far I have only found one bug, I didn't get the Aesthetics of the Lamb achievement. Though I'm wondering if there that one, Apostles, Holder of History, and Setter of Trends are bugged, because according to Steam no one has those

Hey just wondering what exactly are the "lore rooms", i haven't come across it during the crusades yet, nor have i encountered haro this patch, and so i haven't been able to complete the lore master achievement. I have encountered the moth guy and got his page as well as the graveyard pages, but apart from that I can't seem to make any more progress on the achievement

aside from this everything else has been working fine, just missing this one achievement and can't find anything on how/where to find or guarentee encounters to get these lore pages

Okay so it's easier to find them with the map tarot on but in some rooms there will be an odd statue made of stone, if you attack it a few times, it'll open a secret room that has lore in it (I've noticed in only happens in rooms with NO room above it)

Um how did I find one of the messages in the meat room if they don't spawn there? It said something about an offering.

What Meat Room? was it a bunch of graves?
