Drum Circle Minigame
I'm using an Xbox controller to play the rhythm game.
The red line which is set to the B button actually makes sense,
but the blue and green lines are set to the opposite buttons.

Hope you guys can fix that soon.

Red is B button
Green should be A button
and Blue should be X button

This makes the game really difficult since it shows you X which isn't X on my controller and is in the wrong place

As a fun and potentially elegant solution I suggest considering:

- Add a quick calibration to the beginning of the drum circle minigame
- Show the four controller buttons in a diamond, without symbols
- Visually pulse the left, middle, then right buttons
- Prompt the player to hit them in that order

Pros:
- Now you know how to map to the player's controller without needing to query its type
- Can be fit into the time allotted for the minigame without extending it
- Can be made to make sense narratively (setup/prep/whatever)

Cons:
- Doesn't consider mouse & keyboard players
- What if a player messes up the calibration

I'd love for it to be in the controller config, left middle and right spots are X, B and Left Shoulder respectively and it's really weirrddd lmaoo

I have a similar issue on Nintendo Switch: the note columns are not spatially aligned to the button layout on the controller.

I would really appreciate at bare minimum the option to re-map the buttons specifically for the drum mini game, without modifying any of the other controls.

A calibration option for adjusting lag for different televisions would also be appreciated.

Ⅰ'm having an issue with an xbox controller where it wants RT, X, Y, and RT simply never works. RT is bound to attack for me for reference.

Hey all! The team are aware of the issue and I believe we will be changing the UI - not sure if it will make it into the next console patch though which is due to release soon

I'm using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and am having this issue, too.

This is not unique to Cult of the Lamb.

I have similar problems with the squat/pull-up minigames in FF7 Remake or the main gameplay for the Hatsune Miku Projecty Diva games, for example. Basically, anything that relies on physical button positions on a controller. The button placement on screen just does not match up with the controller button locations.
