black screen

whenever i try to open cult of the lamb i just get a black screen, i still get music but i cant see anything

i am on macOS 10.13 btw

We are looking into this issue, in the mean time when you encounter the black screen you just need to tab in and out again and it'll fix it!

im experiencing the same thing, but in trying to get past the very beginning of the game. tried tabing in and out, verifying my files, still nothing.

all we can really do now is wait for the bug to be patched

Is there any fix for PC? Been getting a black screen instead of the crown cutscene in the intro and nothing I've tried works
Tried alt tabbing, dont even know why thats being suggested
Tried reinstalling
Tried playing on my Steam Deck, the game won't even launch
Even tried editing the Assembly-Csharp.dll file, as that supposedly worked in previous patches

I really hope y'all get a fix out for this soon, looks like I'm not the only one having this problem and it seriously hurts the experience to not even be able to start the game

solution i used for now is windowing the game as it launches which is alt+enter it takes a few tries and i know windowed games suck but hey it works

I get a black sscreen instead of video, Linux here (non steam deck) I remember it working at one point so... also I can't skip the videos at the beginning of the game so I'm basically locked out of my game. :P
