How to kill archer?

It shows shield and do nothing even if I hit him with heavy attack.

1. It's very hard to hit him with heavy attack, he spams his guided missiles and has high attack speed. You also have only numbered tries because heavy attacks use you mana.
2. Even when I hit him with heavy attack he just ignores it. Or maybe he attacks me faster than my heavy attack. Then how am I supposed to fight him?

It's really frustrating that he is much harder than bosses.

if your talking about that big guy who shoots that homing yellow orb you have to hit the orb back at him. sometimes he will hit it back to you and you play tennis for a bit. it will hit him eventually and it will knock him out for a free kill

Thanks, it worked. There is no way I would understand it just from the game, why would they put a shield on him that before was always an indication for heavy attack :[

They aren't carrying a physical shield like the others. There's nothing a heavy attack can shatter. It's just an indication that you're doing no damage, just like when Shield of Faith activates for the Lamb.

A game where magic exists, you don't think that magic based attacks can't shatter magic based shields?
WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ WOULD YOU USE SOMETHING FOR QUOTING AS PART OF AN EMOTE YOU BREAK THE DAMN SYSTEM!
