Is it normal to REALLY care for your followers?
I care about my followers a lot, and whenever anything bad happens I usually rush back from my crusade to take care of them, is that normal?

It's fine! I treat the game like a little village sim, and I only sacrifice my older followers thanks to the 'The good die young' trait

I dont care for them. Keeping in mind how fast they die of old age... i dont have time to actually pay attention lol.

There are only two ways to play this game. Either babysit your followers and care for them like you would your dog, or run a cannibalistic blood cult that engages in trials by combat and indiscriminate murder.

That's a given! No tool never breaks, but it serves a lot longer if you care for it well.
(I get upset even if they die of old age skipping on the sacrificial schedule)
I suspect that most people play the game like The Sims. Guys generally play it to win while gals play it to tell stories. Nothing wrong with that and it's just how humans work.

At first I did but now I let them die. I should have picked the murder ability so I can take care of the elderly during the night because the cooldown on rituals are too long to sacrifice or ascend them.
For a while, I named and chose forms for all of them, but that got tedious real fast. Most of them are replaceable anyway, and die of old age pretty quick.
