You Guys Left Out Something Important for Relics
You know how when you grab a new weapon or curse it just drops the old one, which you can grab again if you didn't want the new one? Yeah that needs to be a thing for curses as well! Like it's common sense and anyone who had played the game long enough would think that it would already be the case. Come on people fix this please, it's an inconsistency, and those drive me CRAZY.

Maybe it was intentionaly, so you could not use new relic, get nice effect and then switch back to your old one

Especially since the Fragile relics STACK with each other so if you got multiple Fragile relics you would get each of their effects.

Agreed, this was probably just for that, so picking up the fragile ones would be a tough choice if you've already got on. Without that, they'd just be something you grab every time.

I can even recall a run where I had TWO Leshy eyes (because the game spawned the quest room more than once), one Poison eye and one Freeze eye, all of these were considered fragile relics. People think the relics that need to be recharged can break the game at times, the fragile ones can be just as powerful if you manage to get multiple of them at a time.

If that was the case they could simply make it so that a relic will despawn once you leave the room. I see no issue whatsoever in quickly using that relic which replaces your curse with a higher level random curse, then swapping back to the lightning strike relic before leaving. At the VERY least we players deserve a CHOICE in what relic we want to bring, instead of just picking up a new one to realize it was only a fragile one and your EXTREMELY POWERFUL and RARE ONE is just GONE now. That's not good game design, nobody should have to lose stuff on the flip of a dime without any reason behind it. That's just sloppy game design.

Someone DOESN'T READ when I informed that the Fragile Relics STACK with each other meaning if you found one and you had one that could be recharged all you would need to do is drop the one that can be recharged and just use the Fragile one then and there for its effects!

That is LITERALLY the thing that needs to be added to the game! I don't want to walk into a relic room, see it's a fragile relic, and then just ignore it BECAUSE IT'S USELESS in value if I have to lose my old one! There is NEVER a time I will sacrifice my SUPER OP relic that constantly upgrades curses, JUST SO I CAN THROW SOME BOMBS ON THE FLOOR THAT DO MINIMAL DAMAGE!

Currently it's just common sense to just straight up NOT grab fragile relics if you've already got a charge relic in almost ANY scenario, I HATE when game developers add stuff to their game just for the sake of it being useless or the worst tier items without ANY uses once you have something straight up better and more useful in EVERY WAY. BAD game design choice! I want to use my fragile relics PERIOD, rather than be chained to whatever relic I had before!

They do that, they would then have to NERF the effectiveness of the fragile relics to be on a timer rather than permanent effects in order for you to get what you want to happen for Relics to be dropped on the ground.

Literally all I want is to be able to decide which relic is worth more to me, or just test relics in general. We can do that with curses and weapons, so why not relics? They could at least make a testing area for relics so that we can actually get a detailed explanation of what each relic does. But I seriously find it TOTAL BULL how a "reward" can be just LOOKING AT SOMETHING you'll never use! That's BULL, if you get a temporary relic you SHOULD be able to use it to get its permanent effects, rather than just have NO reward for clearing a room!

Except this would ONLY impact the fragile relics that are permanent effects, something has to be taken away in order for what you want to happen with relics be do able, this is likely why Relics vanish after being swapped, its to make you commit to a relic instead of just getting a relic that can be recharged and freely swapping it with whatever fragile relic you find and just freely use said relic if it was a permanent effect, like for example the relic that replicates whatever curse you have, if you have the Hounds curse and by sheer dumb luck got five of that specific relic at a time, that's then twenty-five shots from a replicated Hounds curse that all deal the same amount of damage as the Cleansing Fire curse, you realize how stupidly broken and powerful that sounds if you got what you wanted by swapping Relics?

It's clear the developers are not that worried about overpowered things... I have a level 51 follower who is a bomb demon... I one-shot bosses EASILY, I almost one-shot freaking SHAMURA and the fight lasted 10 seconds! Having another super op thing would definitely NOT be an issue. LOL

You clearly weren't here when people myself included were asking for the Golden Fleece to be nerfed BECAUSE of the very thing you just mentioned with a follower, people would be able to one-shot everything just after a handful of kills.

Of course I wasn't there, because that isn't at all an issue for my enjoyment of the game... I think currently it's a bit underpowered, and if I DON'T have OP follower demons then I wouldn't be able to get a good use out of it.

You don't NEED to have demons at all and no how the Fleece is now isn't "underpowered" its fine where it is because its the compromise the devs came up with as some people weren't happy having it capped so they made it be uncapped again but only gain 5% per kill instead of the 10% per kill like it was.
