Members doing farm work need a buff

So a patch ago they added it where the members will harvest crops, which is nice, but from what I've seen the never do it when Im away. When I come back either the farm isn't planted or the next thing the farm isn't watered. Even when Im in base it only seems like 1-2 members work on it and I have a 20+ member cult at this point.

You have to constantly assign new members to work the farms. I found after a short amount of time they just spend so much time praying and dancing with other cult members. The day is so short they never get any work done. A lot of the time i think people you assign to it just get old and stop as well. Once you get a bunch of the necklace that make people never sleep that helps a bit. In my game i got my first two moon necklaces stuck in the graveyard with a dumb bug so that was pretty annoying.

Do you have all the relevant equipment built near it? I give my farmer a feather necklace for +speed and also have a propaganda speaker running on it.

Also you can build a house next to the farms and assign the farmer to the house, so they start farming right when they wake up.

That's brilliant, housing next to work area. Currently I basically have a barracks w/ all housing.

Worth noting that a small amount of cult members work on the farm because only one member can use a farming station at a time. If you want multiple farmers, you need to build multiple stations. Build 2-4 in a small square and then plant around them, you'll get 2-4 people farming at once.

my problem with the farms with upgrade tier 2. they automatically harvest. however if you do it manually you get 1 seed back for each harvest. this way you can keep going and sustain everything. with automatic harvesting my seed supply is dwindling fast for some odd reason.

Slap the Moon Necklaces on them, assign them to the farm, never let them sleep again. Farm life is no longer "sun up, sun down," it's "forever."
