Does anyone bother making fancy food?
Even with two or three farms I can't collect enough ingredients to make fancy dishes for all of my cultists. By the late game you have a lot of followers (over 20) and it's much easier to just feed them simple berry dishes or pumpkin dishes.

Is it just me or they should lower the food requirement for special dishes?

Again, does anyone actually bother to feed their entire cult fancy dishes?
No, I don't consider cannibalism a fancy dish or mushroom ritual or the feast ritual.

Some of them are overkill(T3 meat dish for example) while others should be saved for their special effects. Only exception is 40 gold fish dish you can buy after doing fishing quest.

Aside from that T2 meat/cauliflower dishes all the way!

Well, Berry Dishes or Pumpkin Dishes arent great and often have some bad effects attached to them. T2 Cauliflower meals though are better, easy to obtain once you have the seeds for them and I remember they also have a good positive effect. Pumpkin Dishes have a risk of making them puke I thinks? Not too sure anymore.

But generally, yes, I do bother, if I so happen to have what it takes. Otherwise, I just make the next best meal either with positive effects or the least bad effect possible. I avoid dishes that cause sickness unless I have nothing else available. At some point, it is so easy to consistently make T2 food that it's not worth still bothering with T1 food.

T3 aren't really worth it, I generally only used the one that instantly stopped dissenters because I had the perk for nobody being in jail.

You have enough money end game to buy as many fish as you want and pump out whatever food though.

Generally I used the T2 mixed meals, and T1 foods to top off hunger. I sent my crappy Followers on missions only ever for meat, and with 2 farms never got low on vegetables (with 20 Followers). Sending Folowers on missions also reduces the amount of food you need so it's kind of a double whammy.

If you stick to T3 meals they do consume your ingredients pretty quickly though. Better to keep them for special occasions.

I usually do 4 farms and feed the mixed veggie meal by default, hasn't been too much of an issue and it has a decent bonus. If I start falling behind production I switch to the meat and fish meals for a day or 2 or do a fasting/feast ritual to catch up stock.
