Stuck in camp.

I can't run back to the dungeon, a black wall keeps getting in my way when I try to ext the camp.

Are you still in the early tutorial part of the game? If so, you might have one of the early tutorial objectives to complete before you're allowed to go back into the dungeons.

It wants me to do a ritual, which requires 10 wood. I have 5 wood and zero trees in my camp.

Therefore, I apparently can't make any progress because I need to go to the dungeons for wood, but the game won't let me go to the dungeons.

The bonfire ritual, I'm guessing? Hmm. I know that trees will randomly grow back in your cult, but that could take a while... I'm not sure whether or not it would be faster to just start over.

Edit: None of the small saplings or broken logs left on your camp? Those yield a few pieces of wood too.

You can meditate you speed up time.

maybe a stupid question but how does meditation work? reading this for the first time now and really have to kill time for the sacrafice achievement

If you seen someone stream the game and while in the camp get the affect to skip half the day, that's Meditation it speeds up time around you.
