Honest Question - I Swear - Follower Voices

So, I'm in the tutorial phase but I'm also doing some IRL stuff which is keeping me from playing the game much.

I know you can customize your followers. My question is do they have voices? I feel like I heard a deeper voice on my first follower, but then when I went to customize it, I wanted to figure out if it were a more "male sounding" voice or "female sounding" voice.

It sounds stupid, I know. But I want to make a cult that is based on celestial bodies, and I went to customize a dark-colored cat naming it "Luna" but I had forgotten what its voice sounded like.

Just a personal preference, but I don't want a cat named Luna with a deep voice. And when I realized I couldn't change the follower later, I stopped and tried to hear the voice. But there's no option to hear it again.

This is 100% not a big deal, and it's just a personal preference thing.

They all have the same neutral kind of voice. You can only customize their appearance.

Thanks. Sometimes, in games like this, I play it muted while doing other stuff. That's why I kinda wish I could customize voices, but it's cool. I'm sure after I have a bunch of followers, I wont remember. lol

Not true. They do have at least two variations of the voices: one is lower and another is higher pitch. The difference is not huge but it is definitely there (or at least in GOG version). However I did not see how you can select it for your follower. It just sticks to it whatever voice is predetermined by the game without any way to change it for the follower (or at least I did not figure it out).

Yeah, I have to be very careful about how I say this because I don't want it to seem too harsh. But I'm not in love with the fact that I can customize every feature of a follower except their voice. Just seems a bit weird to me.

I personally just associate lower voices and mannerisms with males and higher voices with females.

This problem would be totally fixable if I could customize their voice.

They don't, really, have a voice. I think there are a few different "voices" and pitches they can have but most of it are just sounds, mumbling, no actual chatter.
