Thanks for your message and for playing Greak! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the game! In order to leave that area with Greak and Adara together, you must descend to the cave section where there is a laser puzzle, and then get the Bronze Crest to open the door.
Here is a video for you (we tried to not include spoilers!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D7pWopfV7c
We hope this can be of help, but please let us know if you need more assistance!
Thanks again for playing Greak and for your support : )
I don't think it's possible for Greak to leap over the thorns to the right of Vigga Marshes, but it's just possible for Aarra to do so. (This is assuming you already have the keyed gate open, and wandered into Vigga Marshes afterwards, like I did on my way back with the refined ore.)
First, take Greak through the narrow tunnel, and get him to a save point. Save the game.
Next, switch to Adara and take her all the way back to the easternmost point of Vigga Marshes, with the high wall with thorns almost reaching the top ledge. Switch back to Greak and save the game; you may need a few attempts at this leap. Then switch back to Adara.
Climb on top of the block, and scoot her over step by step until she is tottering on the right edge; she'll waggle her foot to keep her balance. Then leap right, and just as you reach the apex of the leap, leap again to activate her hover, with the control stick pointing up and right. If you time it just right, she can reach the top of the ledge, barely!
I died a few times doing this (I am too old to git gud), so having that save point lets you repeat with a minimum of fuss.
Switch back to Greak and save the game immediately, so you don't lose your progress. Switch back to Adara, and work your way all the way back around to meet Greak, who is trapped in the next area without Adara to help teeter-totter up past the obstacles.
This is a pretty roundabout way to solve the problem, but it may be far faster than restarting the game, depending on your progress.
