Meldamus only appear ONCE at one place !?

I didn't bought Telescope Lens first. I can't find him at zendra forst when I visit second time.
Any chance to get it?

I'm currently playing through the game on Nintendo Switch. For me he first appeared at Zyndra Forest on the path that takes you to the locked gate leading towards Lycer Fortress. Then after going through the Vigga Marshes and finding Adara his second appearance was in the lower Velhora Waterfalls area on the far Eastern side -- he could be found in a small cave below where the exit is that leads to the Raven's Road Camp basement. Now after just completing Lycer Fortress I can't find him in any of the areas that I've been thus far, so he must be elsewhere that I haven't been able to progress yet. Whether that's at the Viraane Ruins via the SouthWest passage at Velhora Waterfalls or Sorkh Ashen via the NorthWest path instead I don't know yet.
