Confused in the marshes, need help

So I found my sister and now we can't leave the marshes. Am I supposed to leave her there? Doesn't seem right. If there's a way out for both of us, I can't figure that out. What do I do?

It is most likely that you missed this door over here in the lower part of the marshes.

I thought that was an odd spot for a save stone. That door is invisible on my rig. Going to have to play around with the settings so I don't miss anything else.

I had the same problem. I missed the door several times, even though the whole setup of that part of level says that there is something else than the save spot.
Now I am dying in the boss fight :)
