It's no good, you still need far too many batteries.

I had the original setup that I alternated between the well and the crusher because there isn't enough power for both at the same time.

I built another transformer, battery, two solar panels and two small solar panels to power the base exclusively. It STILL wasn't enough and the power failed during the night because the battery doesn't store enough and then completely failed for the 2 days the dust storm lasted before I died as well due to no O2.

If anything, it needs two inputs and outputs on the batteries so you can connect them in parallel. This then allows an extra exclusive solar cell to be connected to each battery to provide more power for storage.

Considering that a single battery didn't even last the night running the base, when the dust storm hits, it lasts for over 2 days. that means you need at least 5 or 6 fully charged batteries to last out the storm. That's providing the storm only lasts 2 days, I never found out because I died while it was still raging after 2 days.

As I said in another thread, we really need some wind turbines to provide power during a storm since the solar cells are rendered useless. They can also provide power at other times to suppliment the solar cells.
