board repairs

i was wondering is there a way to repair the circuit boards i had my rover type c board get damaged during a sand storm but i cant seem to get it selected at the work bench to repair is there a key or somthing to have it select or are board repairs not avalible at the time until future development?

I think it's just the tutorial board for the moment.

damn i wish theyd atleast disable the board damage mechanic until u can repair themnow i have to start a new playthrough now and now i gotta hold onto the rovers board before the sandstorm hits it didnt happen before the patch

Happened during the sandstorm. I left it on charge and it ended up taking out nearly every transformer and battery in the area when it went. I had to go around and repair them in the storm just to keep the base running.

what exactly was the problem - i had the same, board type c broken and i could fix it

i couldnt select the board or anything u just assumed it wasnt implemented yet

After you take the circuit board out of the rover, go to the work bench, and after opening the workbench, drag the board to the square area to the right of your inventory, then click repair.

This definitely needs to be explained/in a tutorial.
I would suggest that rather that just have the board at the work bench, have something break down (like the rover), so you can fix it.

On my first try I wasn't doing the Tutorial Tasks in the right order and I didn't deal with the tablet yet, but my rover had a damaged board too. I wasn't capable to do anything at the workbench.
Now after my xth play i was capable to repair the board (repairing the tablet was one of the first things I did this time)

thats just it id click repair but it wouldnt let me select the board period when it was in my inventory at the workbench

Oh so the workbench menu opened to you? (Because to me it didn't when I was playing the first time).
Did you try to drag & drop the board from the inventory to the right empty box in the workbench menu?

it wouldnt let me interact with the menu i tried to drag but the menu just showed the inventory it wouldnt move any items around let alone the board i just restarted the game for now and i put the board in my inventory when its about to have a sand storm

You need too find and repair the Tablet first ... Then the workbench is unlocked..

did that even after the mini quest it takes the table it has me fixing out and still wouldnt let me use it
