I was looking through the entire room trying to figure out what I should be cross referencing till I turned on hints and it told me to look at the paintings with the rot, I didn't even know there were names on those paintings cause the plaques don't contrast well on my screen, were basically invisible on my screen with hdr mode enabled. There is a disk with 12 zodiac signs.
3 of them are signed: 1, 10, 11. Do you know what the first thing appears in a programmer’s brain when he sees a sequence of numbers with 1 and 0?
1 = 1
10 = 2
11 = 3
Therefore, it was not the best decision to sign these particular numbers. Maybe 1 and 12 would be better.

There is a painting with 9 portraits. 9 portraits with 12 zodiac signs do not really connect.

There is a combination lock, each of the disks of which has 6 possible positions... Only 6. Not 9 and not 12.
If you know in advance that all these are links in one chain, then the puzzle is easy to solve. But this is almost the very beginning of the game, we don’t yet know in which place which hint can be useful.
