This. Hell, some reviewers even said that this stuff was unlockable. I assume they were given a Deluxe Edition of the game and didn't know it was paid DLC.
Like, I don't mind buying DLC for games I like, but at least throw a bone and throw in SOME unlockables for free. RE2 had a bunch of DLC only costumes, but you still unlock classic costumes and infinite weapons.
uhh yeah that was in the the original playstation re2 too. nice bad example.
do people not have jobs? ohh i remember when tetris gave me all these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, wait nevermind.
its like 10 to 20 dollars for a value meal. u guys cant afford 2 dollars?
I bought the game, didn't I? On PS5, but I can clearly afford it.
Not sure why you defend LESS content.
Also, Tetris DID give out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The thing is that after looking at the dlc's i don't feel any fomo about not buying any of them. There are too much game these days that hides important features behind dlc.
I prefer a full price game that is full featured than a less expensive game that hides it's real price behind dlc.
Yeah all this could have been unlockable for a new playthrough. But I like the fact that it's just bonus content that you can cherry pick according to your taste without missing anything important from the game. Unlockable would be better than dlc, but I'll take any good step in the right direction.
That said, it's a bit sad to be happy to get a full game without having to buy dlcs...
I would never play the 1992 costume, I can just boot the original games and you can bet that mods will come for better stuff. In my experience most filters are a bother and after trying them I switch them off real fast.
The commentary would be mildly interesting but would bore me halfway. The rest is standard fluff that I care even less about.
My point exactly: If anything, those dlc feels like donations dlc, you like the game, you can give a little extra to the studio in exchange for a gimmick.
