I really don't see the point of pre-ordering digital games. Steam is not going to run out of game licenses to sell.
However, I will not hesitate to pre-buy it when possible.

Right, apparently there's going to be different versions (digital deluxe?) and the like too.. but there's not a single word of any of this anywhere on steam.
What the heck are these guys doing on the marketing front?

Half tempted to just pick it up from one of the grey key sites that GGdeals is showing it at , probably be cheaper too

Compared to others of the survival horror genre, Alone in the Dark was sadly pretty niche, which sucks since it was more or less the grandfather of them all.

October's release schedule is stupidly stacked also, I might be taking some PTO just to catch up

In the FAQ on the Steam page they expilicitly state, that they won't offer Pre-Order for PC (Steam and GOG)

So, according to what I can see on console pre-order pages and editions, there's some costume bonus pack for pre-ordering... are us PC gamers just Sh*t out of luck in getting this? Are these guys going to nickel and dime us this as additional DLC because they wouldn't let us pre-order?
