Played the Prologue...
...well, even if does not represent the game as it would truly be, was enough take it off from the wishlist and lose that initial interest. What about you guys?

Liked the atmosphere and there were a couple of nice call backs to the originals. However, it felt a bit like a walking simulator and the design for Carnby is disgraceful.

Sad to hear, because if this game fails to delivers maybe the IP would be buried

I was going to download it until I heard it was like 15 minutes long

Dont judge a book from its cover. Imagine prologue can give you what really game is all about. Have you saw their presentation of a game. Go watch youtube then judge. Jezz people jump so iracional and without thinking. Attention spam?

What kind of stupid thread is this? You just give the info that you have crossed it off the wish list again, no reason for it, no argument, no topic... You really are a superhero

bruh i mean if it was enough for u to put it out of your wishlist, did u even care or watch anything about the MAIN game first?

Apart from the #stutterstruggle when loading a new area it ran at a smooth 144fps, Hopefully there's some precache for the full release. Was good to atleast get a sampling of the game engine and how it performs/plays.
Wish there was an FoV slider, hope it's easily moddable.

Sad that it's moved away from fixed cam/tank control and gone the cliché, streamlined, 'safe' third person shooter route.. :/

Honestly today's showcase was more informative; (and ironically enough lasts longer than this prologue..) David Harbour and Jodie Comer starring as the two protagonists has my attention, and hearing that it's something of a dual story for both characters' playthroughs was neat.

I feel like the demo shouldn't have existed like this though, or that it was atleast 3x as long with some playable Carnby/Hartwood sampling to show us. Still on my wishlist, will probably still grab it for Halloween season.

I also had stuttering issues. But the game looks interesting.

Yeah, it was just a walking simulator but it reminded me of the Sherry Birkin section in RE 2 remake.

I didn't have any stuttering but I did remove the game from my wishlist after playing the prologue. The girl acting perfectly normal when weird crap is happening was annoying. The quality felt a bit lacking too. Also not a fan of quicktime events either.

I think that girl was a ghost and that's why Jeremy was scared by seeing her.And I think it was minutes before Jeremy hanged himself.

Yeah Grace acting so nonchalant about everything was actually one of the more interesting parts for me; clearly there's something more going on here and she has loads of involvement with the bigger picture. (Especially since she was in all the original trailers)

All I needed to see to take it off the wishlist was the Hollywood actors.

For those whom suggested that I didn't watched the devs video and gameplays... I did. That's why I put it on the wishlist. I am from a time that I read and saw screenshots from an magazine scan, showing the very first game on pc, and it made my imagination runs and fascinates me until I saw these news versions of AitD being so off from the original title.

But this prologue truly felt unecessary and somehow, it did undermine (not only for me, let me be clear about it) the interest. And hey, it is just an opinion that I wished to share and know from others... no need to feel offended. I do hope the game succeeds. I root for small developers and people that has reverence for the title original source (like RE2, DS, etc). Hopefully, I will be wrong on the full game.
