Wish there was an FoV slider, hope it's easily moddable.
Sad that it's moved away from fixed cam/tank control and gone the cliché, streamlined, 'safe' third person shooter route.. :/
Honestly today's showcase was more informative; (and ironically enough lasts longer than this prologue..) David Harbour and Jodie Comer starring as the two protagonists has my attention, and hearing that it's something of a dual story for both characters' playthroughs was neat.
I feel like the demo shouldn't have existed like this though, or that it was atleast 3x as long with some playable Carnby/Hartwood sampling to show us. Still on my wishlist, will probably still grab it for Halloween season.
Yeah, it was just a walking simulator but it reminded me of the Sherry Birkin section in RE 2 remake.
But this prologue truly felt unecessary and somehow, it did undermine (not only for me, let me be clear about it) the interest. And hey, it is just an opinion that I wished to share and know from others... no need to feel offended. I do hope the game succeeds. I root for small developers and people that has reverence for the title original source (like RE2, DS, etc). Hopefully, I will be wrong on the full game.
