Ideas after 2 hours.
So, I like the game I really do, but after two hours there are some things I'm noticing that could used brushed up and some new ideas (minus the body decay I mentioned on Discord)

Easier listing: There is nothing on the mutant screen that says what mutagen they were made from. This should be here. Another thing is it should be a bit easier to find mixes in listings, such as pin one you want to make and it tells you the ingredients on screen, not the reaction symbols.

Worm: I feel so bad for this thing. All it does is eat and eat. What about a system where worm needs cared for? Like if you feed it too much it needs a bigger (and more comfortable) box. Maybe not even that, but at least let me pet the poor thing.

Mutant assistant: So when I wake my mutants up, it literally does nothing and it won't even let me back out of the screen. Mutants should wake and wonder around the lab for some background activity while working. If their stats are too low they can become violent and attack the player.

Government inspection: The first thing I thought of seeing the investigation meter was the game Evil Genius. There should be a warning after every X amount of panic that agents show up to inspect your lab. You will have a few minutes to hide things (back drop pull down over morgue wall, lock doors, hide secret computer, get rid of limbs in incubators etc.) and they come in inspect. If nothing is found they leave and the suspicion does not increase. However if they do find things the suspicion begins to rise. If it becomes to high after so many visits they arrest you. Should take them 2 minutes or less to wonder the lab, providing you hid everything.

Decor/Upgrades: This has been mentioned in other threads and discord so I know you know, but somehow many people don't know you know. So this is for them. It has been mentioned.

Another idea: A section where you can control your creatures and do missions with them directly, for example like a RTS game. Playable open scenarios with your mutants: Hunt, kill humans, infiltration... various objectives

Hi,

We wanted to do simplified turn-based combat, it was a final stretch goal for our Kickstarter. Currently though it's beyond our budget scope. Would like to get back to ideas in the future if it ever becomes achievable.
