That would be a prayer card in english. You can find those normally in the world as well, usually in dragon chests. In the corrupt hand campaign, you can find enough to give one to every member of the team, but I guess they stack and you could give a bunch to one person, hence them being traded for rosaries.
Really feel like the game could better communicate that you got one of those when choosing that dialog option with the inquisitor, I ended up just collecting the rosaries and doing nothing with them.
Oh wow, I've already found six of those elsewhere. Had no idea you received one from handing over a rosary—the game definitely could do a better job of communicating that.
Their effects don't seem to stack, by the way, at least as far as I can tell.
