I would just suggest progressing normally. Sorry for the issues! We'll address it as soon as we're able to.
On another note, I'm happy to see this game supports multiple controllers well. I've been switching to an sdvx controller for the rhythm sections and that's been working great. If I had a guitar hero or guitarfreaks controller, I'm sure that would work perfectly too.
For the red door issue, we're having trouble replicating it on our end. We tried using auto-save, manual save, defeating multiple enemies first and then saving. If you have any additional info let us know. Either way we'll continue to investigate the issue.
If you don't want to wait since it's early in the game it might be worth it to just replay from the start. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.
