have to say though, living in a frozen biome, no matter which one it is, is still more or less unviable, as there is almost no way to generate food - fishing is super expensive, especially with the new update, there are no luxury resources to be found, animals are almost nonexistant and farming is just straight out impossible. Maybe I am just playing wrong but living in the desert/a savanah as the emirates allows you to just get most your early/mid game food from pastures, later on trading, but with these ones I really struggle
Upgrade your town center to LV3 and you will get a card building, you can buy breeder there
I noticed this especially when I play on Very Low sea level - its like it makes half the map desert no matter what settings I use. Would be nice to "turn off" certain biomes or have a more customizable map gen. Other than that, I LOVE this game! Excellent work!!
before Update no lags at all even with big map size.
I had to restart several games now because there was just nothing to be done - builders were fed, had tools, enough heat and entertainment. All stats at 90+% but they just ran randomly around the map for literal years. Houses and town hall were close enough, same with storage. They just did nothing, I deconstructed it several times, switched workers on and off, set priority but the ranches weren't finished even after 7 years of having more than enough people to swing the hammer for 5min.
The rest of the update is great, I like the change with breeders over how it worked before but please, builders bugging out is extremely annoying. Especially at higher difficulties because there's next to no way to recover from building delay early on.
I've noticed it happens more often on farms and ranches for some reason - even if the building site has been cleared, resources deposited, builders are all fine they just don't do anything and seemed to have gotten worse after the update.
Would be great if you could do something about it because it's not challenging if the AI is stupid/ bugs out, it's just frustrating.
