Update on 5/24/2024
So my fiancee and I updated the game this morning and noticed everything was reset. From our settings to our saves being completely deleted. Im also getting a message in the corner of the menu saying texture pool over limit. Im fairly confident it is not my computer causing a lack of texture pool as this wasnt a problem yesterday. Im also unsure if we are the only ones experiencing the whole settings reset and saves removed.

Said something about a dev build and wanted internet access as well. I'm guessing someone uploaded the wrong version. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Whats worse is when playing the game it says that message covering my gold and says to disable all messages or increase texture pool size but i have no way of doing either. Im not even sure as to how. Hopefully the devs can fix it cause it is very annoying

I hope so as we were pretty far in our games with friends and now they are all gone

i restored my save files (i'm using linux)
i manually copied the GameSaves Folder from the compdata folder to the common folder (fullpath below)

<steam-path>/steamapps/compatdata/1307890/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/PunCity/Saved
to
<steam-path>/steamapps/common/Kingdoms Reborn/PunCity/Save

yeah once you load that, it points you to another beta lol I didn't try the next one so hopefully they will fix or starting a new game this weekend lol

This worked for me, Im using windows, I copied the "GameSaves" from folder:
%USER%\AppData\Local\PunCity\Saved\GameSaves
to:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Kingdoms Reborn\PunCity\Saved
