Trade with a colony
Hello,

I have founded a colony and also have a logistics port. However, I do not understand how to transport goods from the colony to my city and vice versa.

Can anyone help me?

In order to import goods from your main colony to your secondary ones, click on the Intercity Logistics Port @ your new colony and it'll bring up a window that likely already has things like food, coal, medicine and tools already set-up to be imported. If you would like to bring in more types of goods, you'll have to build another intercity logistics port/post. Once you have it built, you can set whatever sort of goods/luxuries and how much you want stored there.

Now if you want to bring stuff from your new colony to your original colony, you just need to build a intercity logistics port/post in your main colony and do the same as you would. Select the resources you want transported over, select how much you would like to always have stocked in your colony, and it'll automatically transport materials periodically.

Hope this helps

If you have a Trading Port in the main settlement, then the newer city will take resources it needs from there (you have to set them up so you get what you want in the quantities you want it in). You can also build a logistics hub in the main city when you have the inclination so that you can trade both ways. Just remember that your set limits aren't the same as your transport capacity.
