In my opinion there should at least be like a 'Cardcore' setting in the game options where you really have to play the deck. No buildings gifted through copying, no money back for selling cards and no cards back from destroying buildings.
I don't mind it as it is, but I'm not really a fan of the card system. I suspect there will be some changes to it in the future
This is a solid solution. Outside of the first hour, I'm only using wild cards then just copying buildings, but I will end up with a large stack of wild cards that just sit there, building and building, with only a rare use for the first of a new building before I just copy it.
Having it as an option, makes it the best solution because its an option, A might prefer things this way, B might hate it, but if everyone is C then everyone can be satisfied.
Honestly even the wild card kinda ruins it, since you get them for free once you bank up 5 card sets, I rarely use the actual offerings. I mostly just use it to get the action cards like kidnap, immigration, buy wood and steal.
card system is just poop. Essentially at one point you want to expand and to press next like a slot machine is just icky
This game was advertised with the card system, I bought it because it had a card system and was unique. There's plenty of city building games out there without card systems.
Same with the breeder system for crops. I'd appreciate the option of having luxury crop fertilities limited to specific areas of the map.
