In multiplayer it will be a gentlemans agreement if combat is ok or not.
The combat in this game is pretty easy, its by using cards. You buy military cards and you can atrack enemy, your armies will be deployed in your opponents settlement and its up to them if they waht to defend or not. The only way a player csn lose is if you become disinterested to continue because all your villagers are either kidnapped or terrorized. But thst takes a while because its hard to do that. It csn only be done if your borders have MET.
Point is, this is functionally just a colony sandbox and if that's what you are looking for, you are in the right place. If you expect anything else, you will be disappointed.
