Regarding your question about the macOS version of GRID Legends, there's some important news to share. The game is now available, but exclusively through the Mac App Store. This follows a special arrangement between the developers and Apple.
Here's a link to the announcement from Feral Interactive for more details: Feral Interactive News[www.feralinteractive.com]. Unfortunately, there's no clear information on how long this exclusivity will last, whether it's just for a short period or indefinitely.
Given this situation, if you're keen to play GRID Legends on macOS, your best bet is to head over to the Mac App Store. It's available there for purchase and download right now.
Hope this helps, and happy gaming on macOS!
I guess I will give the GPTK a try and play the windows version of Grid Legends on my Mac. Works like a charm for a ton of other games - no reason to pay for this again.
This is a good starting point for people who have no fear of "fiddling around" with their Mac: https://github.com/Whisky-App
https://heroicgameslauncher.com/ is also a good tool that comes with great compatibility features to run windows games on M1 Macs (and it is a great alternative to the crappy Epic Games Launcher for native Mac-Games on the Epic Store)
