Throttle/Brakes feedback with Xbox S/X controller

I'm trying the game at GamePass before buying here at Steam.

I nearly don't have any feedback with an Xbox S/X controller when using the throttle and brakes triggers. I have some rumble here and there (I have the feedback+rumble option ON) but the feedback is non-existent compared to other games like F1 2023, Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsports.

Is this normal in the game?

I'm using an xbox controller too, not much issue. Have you damaged the car? might possible to break the car performance.

I've done a lot of different races, the car is good, not broken. Perhaps the feedback with controller is just bad compared to other racing games.
The controller rumbles but it is very strange that there is no rumble on the triggers, so zero feedback on brakes and throttle... With other racing games my controller works fine.

UPDATE: I just bought the game on Steam and the triggers don't work.

Grid (2019) at first was not adapted to XBOX Controller.

I assume that Grid (2019) was updated to work but Grid Legends is not for the moment.

Yes unfortunately 2019 had trigger vibrations but Legends never got that update.

I honestly doubt it. 2019 had barely any mods and Legends even less so.

Still, you could check the pcgamingwiki page for GL every now and then and see if its been modded in
