Yet around the clock, 24/7 there is always lobbies for pvp. That's not a dead game. This game has multi-platform support and a huge overall fan base.
VR would change this franchise for the positive. VR racers are hungry for a non sim title to race with, go read the VR posts for upcoming Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown. Realise that most of the people making those comments are currently racing in sims, me included. Many of those same peeps would try Grid if it came to VR.
VR is overlooked thus far from most non-sim titles and open world racers, eliminating a ton of 'no VR, no race' peeps. Once you race in VR it's hard to go back. The first non sim racer to incorporate this untapped market will have their game explode in popularity.
because F1 is a massive cash cow, especially after DtS. Whereas GRID is a good racer that's been overshadowed by flagship titles (Forza/GT) that get absurd budgets from Microsoft and Sony.
Takes some messing about to scale the game to a decent image through VD while not stretching it too much to lose graphical quality. If you can overlook the flaws, the actual focus of the centred track and car is 90% decent on par with what they did with F1-22.
Not great, but working and better than VorpX does racing titles.
You aren't missing anything.
