This game looks SICK! ..But F PC
Hey there,

Just wanted to say this game looks amazing (saw Cohh play it on Youtube) and I wanted to buy it but was pretty disappointed it's PC only. The last few pc games I played were just so underwhelming performance wise it took ALL the joy out of it for me. I'm talking stuttering/micro-freezes/fps drops, And before you say the most repeated sentence of the last decade "JusT uPgRadE YouR Pc Bro0o", I have a 3080/i9-9900k/32gb. AND, I play all my games in 1080p (1920x1080) and always lower lightning and shadows to medium/low just to get a decent performance from the get go (which I don't get, sadly).

My point being, I'm done with PC gaming, and just use my XSX/PS5/Switch for all games now. I would buy this instantly day 1 on console, and I'm sure more people feel like this because the game and it's price ratio is very good for what you get! :ok_hand:

if all your games stutter wih that hardware, maybe you should check for viruses,or empty your HDD/get an SSD or upgrade your drivers.. something is clearly wrong there. my PC isn't nearly as strong, and this game (and most games) run smoothly on ultra.

This..100% sounds like a him problem. Yeah, a lot of games have launch issues but a lot are also caused by old drivers and a myriad of user issues. Some are just optimized poorly but are patched/bug fixed pretty quickly.

Yea, people say that but I have done a clean install and replaced all hardware that could cause issues (in 2022). I'm not the only one tho, if you scoure the internet you will see many people complain with good rigs that games NOWADAYS (a few years ago there weren't as much stutter issues) have a lot of issues.

Anyway, I was only explaining why I don't like pc gaming anymore, and just pleaded for this game to come on consoles, haha!

The problem is not the computer.

I disagree. I've read ALOT of people with high end rigs having issues lately. whereas my Rig runs those games perfectly. I have a ryzen 7 3700x with 32gigs of ram and a 2080 super. if it runs smoothly on my PC,it SHOULD run smooth on his, unless theres an issues with HIS computer.

Ain't just the ram/cpu/gpu that matters any more, it's the type of ram, the OS, the software conflictions etc. Like a lot of people had stutters on hogwart's legacy, but people with Window's 11 didn't, same with wild heart, wo long etc. The problem with PC gaming is you can't live in the past and sometimes people think technology is gonna sit stagnant and still offer the same experience day 1. Gotta stay up to date with proper DDR ram, windows updates (Not just OS version.) etc, cause sometimes, it doesn't auto update afterall haha.

Difference of a stutter fest and a smooth ride could be as simple as a package failing to install that had a game driver that works with your driver update to your GPU. I had this problem on this computer, but a bios fix allowed the update to go through and Rift breaker with all settings maxed, went from 90 fps to 252 fps, no stutters etc or crashes!

Wo Long has caused me massive problems. It is very finicky. Any driver update or minor thing causes it to run like absolute ♥♥♥♥. Its infuriating. On Gamepass I couldn't get it to run smooth at all. So I got it on steam. Sometimes its buttery smooth, other times a hot mess. Depending on certain factors. Wild Hearts I just passed on because of the myriad of problems people had. Hogwarts I had zero issues with. Last of Us remake is a bug filled mess causing people tons of problems too. But its ran smooth for me so far. But yeah, there is a million factors to deal with now. Its getting tiring.
Uh... No thanks Apr 1, 2023 @ 2:12am
Im running a 3070 on a ryzen 7 5800x and 64GB ram on 1440p - i get around 70-144 FPS ingame and i consider it absolutely fine, feels great.

I mean yeah, it rly sounds like a problem on ur end.
But if u say u already tried most solutions...
My PC was slowed down, because it decided, that my 2008 HDD is the best device for some virtual ram...
guess what? it wasn't... So I had to change that manually, even so I never used it before.
If u have a second screen, open the taskmanager and watch ur (probably HDD) workload.
If a HDD stays on 100%, u might have found the crook in the nook.
