Game Keeps Freezing and Locking My Computer

I stated it in my review too, so I'll just copy that and leave it here:

"...seemingly at random times the game straight up freezes after a while. First time it happened when I tried to get near the "Home Birds" and after that when I was trying to take a picture of that weird creature in the second area. Well, it wouldn't be that big of a problem, however after I switch apps, my cursor stays like I'm still in-game and I can't click anywhere, even if I'm techinically on a different app (Steam, Discord, Task Manager, etc.). So I can only use my keyboard to restart my computer in order to just continue doing whatever."

My system is a mid-tier one and I have a gtx 1650 graphics card. Hope this helps but as you can understand I can't leave a positive review as I just can't play it, no matter how much I like everything else about the game. Hoping for a stability patch of some sorts in the future

Since yesterday, my Steam freezes whenever exiting a game. The mouse stops working and the only way I can get out is via the Keyboard, "Ctrl+Alt+Del" buttons and then shutdown the computer. I uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it. But the problem remains.

Huh... I don't have that problem on my end and I've finished a couple other games after I had this problem, having no issues with them whatsoever. However, I recently started playing Rise of Tomb Raider and for some reason Steam didn't record all my playtime. To my understanding there are some weird stuff happening, maybe because of the whole "war" thing? I don't know, don't want to speculate silly stuff to be frank.

This was happening only with the City Car Driving. So, I uninstalled locally and reinstalled it. Now it is fine.

Have you tried playing on the latest version? On 2.0 and above?

I haven't been able to sit down to play any games for a little while but I'll definitely try, I saw the new patch also and thought maybe my issue would also been fixed or smth. Thanks for the answer, I'll try to make some time to check it out.
