Thread for getting help when stuck
I guess we should have a place to ask for help when we're stuck?

I'm on my 5th play through now and am stuck on the task "Story for the poetry section". Does anyone have a hint what to photograph for that?

Thanks all, I knew what I need but never realized I could go behind the bookstore

Alright, clearly I haven't tried "everything", otherwise, I wouldn't be stuck, but I don't want to take a photo of everyone in the game on the random chance I get the right thing.
So, I'm stuck on the last photo of the first set: A good example of proximal phalanges.

Clearly it's someone's hand. Who, though ?

I might try the coroner...?

Very warm.

But try colder.

;)

Beauty is what's on the inside. Your guess is not bad though :)

So close, but a few pixels away.
Nice clues, thank you both.
At first I was thinking about cold, a freezer, may be the fire hydrant and needing to get that fixed, but the phone box glitches in and out of existence in my game.

I got it in the end :)

I had to google the term proximal phalanges, because I've never heard of it. Seems like more of a medical term?
Thank you, and well done on your part!

Think literally.

How literal are we talking? I'm not American and I thought "Maybe it's the hot dogs" but it wasn't that :)

You probably found the remote detonator dövice. All it needs is a bit of electricity.
By changing batteries or charging it in any other manner?

I knew what phalanges were (or are), the proximal bit, I'd guess was just "drilling" it down finer. Yes, phalanges is a medical term for the bones (or specific ones) in your hand.

Find someone who is just too busy to help, and look around.

Last one for stage 2...

Hhhmmm, Something disgusting ? Hot dogs...? Ok, let's go photograph that. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

Another manner. This was the hardest in the game for me!

Got it, didn't notice the thing in question, thanks!

The solution is very Point&Click adventur-esque. If you played the original game, you might remember a similar solution.
